LANE #1 SHOOTOUT

The Lane #1 Shootout is a separate event offered during Mini-Eliminator week and only entrants of the Mini are eligible to participate. This special event will take place on Saturday, February 5th at 9am and will crown both a $2,500 handicap & scratch champion by noon the same day.

The Lane #1 Shootout entry fee is $200 and includes a brand new, yet released, high performance ball ($269.95 value). Making this deal even more incredible is the new ball will be drilled for you at the South Point at no additional charge (a $40 value)! Lane #1 will have its staff on-site at the South Point to help you layout your ball to match your game.

There are actually 2 separate Lane #1 Shootouts; one for scratch bowlers and one for handicap bowlers. Both use the same format and feature the same guaranteed prizes. Here is the format for both the handicap and scratch shootout:

• Everyone will bowl 3 games across 6 lanes and must use any Lane #1 ball on all first deliveries. Any ball may be used to convert spares.
• Qualifying will be done by divisions; in the scratch shootout 1 in 8 bowlers in the 49 & under division and in the senior division will cash for a minimum of $200 with the top 2 in each division advancing to the final shootout.
• The same format will be used in the handicap shootout except everyone will get their 90% of 220 handicap. One in 8 bowlers in the 220 & under division and in the 199 & under division will cash for a minimum of $200 with the top 2 from each division advancing to the final shootout.
• The final shootout will be a 1 game match on the same lanes with each division being represented by the top 2 qualifiers. All 4 bowlers in each shootout are guaranteed a minimum of $1,000.
• The top 4 places in each shootout are guaranteed to pay; $2,500-1st, $1,500-2nd, $1,250-3rd and $1,000-4th.

The Lane #1 Shootout will be competed on the same lane pattern as the Mini-Eliminator so bowlers can use their new ball in both tournaments. There will be side pots and brackets offered during shootout qualifying. Everyone that cashes in the Lane #1 Shootout will be paid after 2pm the same day.
