LANE #1 SHOOTOUT TOURNAMENT

The Lane #1 Shootout is a new tournament that has been added to The Mini-Eliminator schedule. This special event will take place on Saturday, July 3rd at 9am. The Lane #1 Shootout finals will take place immediately after qualifying is completed with a champion crowned by noon.

The Lane #1 Shootout entry fee is $250 and that includes a brand new, yet released, Time Bomb high performance ball ($269.95 value). Making this deal even more incredible is the Time Bomb will be drilled for you at the South Point for no additional charge (40 value)! Lane #1 will have its staff on-site at the South Point to help you layout your ball to match your game.

The format for the shootout is simple; everyone bowls 2 games across 4 lanes and all must use a Lane #1 ball on their first delivery every frame. Any ball may be used for spares. Qualifying is by groups with the top 4 in the 210 & under handicap division, and the top 4 in the senior division, advancing to their own finals. (Note; qualifying in the 210 & under division will be handicap). For the 49 & under division the top 8 will advance to the finals.

The finals will use a single game match play format with each division running its own tournament. Highest qualifying bowls their first match against the lowest qualifier in the same division. Bowlers eliminated in the first round will receive $150. Bowlers eliminated in the second round will receive $250. All bowlers that win 2 matches will advance to the Lane #1 Shootout Finals.

The Shootout Finals will be a 1 game match that will include 4 bowlers; the 210 & under champion, the senior champion, and the 2 remaining 49 & under bowlers. A 1 game scratch shootout will determine the top 4 places which are guaranteed to pay; $5,000-1st, $2,500-2nd, $1,500-3rd and $1,000-4th.

You must have a paid entry into the Mini-Eliminator in order to bowl in the Lane #1 Shootout. If you purchase a Marathon Entry you will receive a $100 discount off the Shootout entry (you pay only $150). If you buy a Mini Marathon entry you will receive a $50 discount and only pay $200 for your Shootout entry. Entries will be limited to the first 128 bowlers that purchase a Shootout entry.

The Lane #1 Shootout will be competed on a different lane pattern than the Mini-Eliminator. The Lane #1 staff will design the pattern and Kegel will put down the shot. Once this pattern is finalized it will be posted on the Mini-Eliminator website. The scoring on this pattern will be higher than the Mini-Eliminator pattern.

There will be sidepots and 9-man brackets offered during shootout qualifying. Everyone that cashes in the Lane #1 Shootout will be paid after 2pm the same day.
