THE LANE #1 SHOOTOUT FEATURES $5,000 TOP PRIZE
AT THE 2010 SUMMER MINI-ELIMINATOR

Las Vegas, NV: The 2010 Summer Mini-Eliminator at The South Point is pleased to announce a new event has been added to the summer schedule; The Lane #1 Shootout. This event will feature a guaranteed $12,000 prize fund, with a $5,000 top prize, and be held during the Mini-Eliminator on Saturday, July 3rd at 9am. Everyone purchasing an entry will receive the brand new "Time Bomb" Ultra High Performance ball as part of their entry with drilling included.

The Lane #1 Shootout is a 2-game qualifying tournament that will be bowled on a special lane pattern created by Lane #1. Qualifying will be 2 games by division with the top 4 series from the 210 & under handicap group and the senior division advancing to the match play finals. In the 49 & under scratch division the top 8 will advance to the finals.

The Lane #1 Shootout Finals is guaranteed to pay $12,000 regardless of entries. All finalists are guaranteed a minimum of $125 and the more rounds you win the more money you earn. All matches will be by division with the last round being a 4 bowler Shootout to determine the top 4 places which guarantees; $5,000-1st, $2,500-2nd, $1,500-3rd and $1,000-4th. All 3 divisions are guaranteed to have a representative in the final shootout with the largest division have 2 people.

The entry fee for the Lane #1 Shootout is $250 and that includes the new Time Bomb ball with drilling. This new ball will be offered to Mini-Eliminator bowlers exclusively even before it is available in pro shops. Bowlers purchasing a Mini-Eliminator Marathon entry will receive $100 off the Shootout entry (only $150) while Mini Marathon bowlers will get $50 off a Shootout entry (and pay only $200.)

The Lane #1 Shootout is exclusively for Mini-Eliminator bowlers. There will be a maximum of 128 entries allowed. All bowlers in the Shootout must use a Lane #1 ball during the entire event. The finals will take place immediately after qualifying and will be completed before the Saturday noon Mini-Eliminator qualifying squad.
