THE EARLY BIRD TOURNAMENTS

For the first time in Mini-Eliminator history each division will have its own separate early bird tournament. What is an early bird tournament? It an extra tournament run "early" (all squads are run at 10am) that is FREE if you meet some easy requirements:

• If you purchase a Marathon Entry you get 3 free early bird entries
• If you prepay for just one main event entry you get 3 free early bird entries
• If you stay at the South Point at least 2 nights you get 3 free early bird entries
• If you recruit just one bowler you get 3 free early bird entries

MEET JUST 1 OF THESE REQUIREMENTS & ALL 3 EARLY BRID SQUADS ARE FREE!

If you are a walk-in entry that purchases a single entry and not staying at the South Point you can still bowl the Early Bird Tournament by paying $100 per squad.

The early bird tournament consists of 3 squads, run once a day at 10am on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of tournament week. Each squad is two games and the top 4 series in the Senior and 210 & under divisions, and the top 8 in the 49 & under division, each day advances to the Early Bird Finals and guaranteed to earn a minimum of $100.

At the end of the 3 Early Bird Squads there will be 12 finalists in the Senior and 210 & under divisions and 24 in the 49 & under division. Each division will have its own separate match play tournament each featuring a $1,000 top prize.

The Early Bird Finals will take place on Saturday, July 3rd at 10am. Each division's bracket will be determined by the 2 game qualifying series with the highest series bowling the lowest series in Round 1. After 2 rounds in the Senior and 210 & under division, and 3 rounds in the 49 & under division 3 bowlers will remain in each bracket. These 3 finalists will bowl a 1 game shootout to determine the top 3 places in each division.

The lane conditions for the Early Bird Squads are the same as the main event. There will be plenty of side action during the early bird squads as 9-man brackets, series pots, eliminator pots, and high game pots will all be offered. Anyone winning money in the early bird tournament will receive their money on Saturday after 2pm.
